Membership

The Membership Committee holds the membership drive and keeps tally of our PTSA membership.

Our membership drive begins in August and continues through March.

The Carl Sandburg PTSA is a not-for-profit organization with tax exempt status. We operate with a modest budget and are very proud of the programs we are able to provide for our students. The membership fee is divided between national, state, and local dues. The PTSA does not rely on membership fees to fund programs.

A portion of our revenue comes from Market Day, a co-op food service fundraiser. Depending on our budget demands, the Ways and Means committee may also hold other fundraisers throughout the year.
